Any office bearer of the institution or its alumni association, or a volunteer authorised in writing. You submit a claim with proof — an official letter, an institutional email domain, or an association resolution — and the platform team reviews it before granting owner rights.

Add it in seconds from Institutions → Add institution, or ask a platform admin to bulk-import a registry file. New listings start as unclaimed stubs so nobody gets exclusive rights by simply typing a name.

Alumni request to join with batch, course and role details. Admins approve or reject from the manage desk. Admins can also invite alumni in bulk — each invitee gets a secure one-time link that pre-verifies them.

The institution's. Each tenant registers its own sender name, address and domain, so blasts go out under the institution's identity and reputation — never a shared platform address.

Each institution links its own payment account. Money flows directly to the institution; the platform records the transaction, updates campaign totals and order status via signed webhooks, and gives admins a reconciliation view.

A tenant subscription by institution size — school, college or university tier — covering member capacity, admin seats, email volume, store, campaigns and gallery storage. Billing is per institution, annually or monthly.

The institution does. Data is collected for the institution admin's purposes; we maintain, secure and process it as their platform provider and never sell or reuse it across tenants.

Yes — that is the point. One login, one profile, and every school, college and university you belong to appears in My Universe with its own branding.

It is a PWA. Install it from the browser on Android or iOS and it behaves like a native app with themed icons and a full-screen shell.
